Ticking off all the Gaudí sites can feel like a marathon.
We broke it down into a relaxed walk, with amazing coffee breaks built in.
It's the only way to do it.
The Route: Art & Coffee
Stop 1: Casa Batlló & a Specialty Brew
The Art: Start at Passeig de Gràcia with the incredible, bone-like facade of Casa Batlló. Take in the details from across the street for the best view.
The Coffee: Just a few blocks away, find Nomad Coffee Lab & Shop. They are serious about coffee. Grab a flat white and recharge for the next leg.
Stop 2: La Pedrera & a Pastry
The Art: Walk a few minutes up the same street to La Pedrera (Casa Milà). Its wavy stone facade and surreal rooftop chimneys are iconic Gaudí.
The Coffee: Duck into Baluard Barceloneta's Eixample location for arguably the best croissant in Barcelona. You've earned it.
Stop 3: Sagrada Família & a Relaxing Terrace
The Art: It's a bit of a longer walk (or a short metro ride) to the main event: La Sagrada Família. Give yourself time to see it from all sides.
The Coffee: Avoid the tourist traps right next to it. Walk a block or two towards Av. de Gaudí and find a cafe with a terrace, like Cafè Vienna, for a classic vibe with a view.
Stop 4: Park Güell & a Final Coffee
The Art: The grand finale. Head up to Park Güell (booking tickets ahead is a must). The mosaic bench and gingerbread-like houses are peak Gaudí fantasy.
The Coffee: After exploring the park, find a local spot in the Gràcia neighborhood at the bottom of the hill. Onna Coffee is a great choice for one last quality brew.
