This city-state is packed with incredible sights and experiences that are completely free to enjoy. From futuristic gardens to lush nature reserves, here's how to meet up on a budget.

🍽️📍Perfect Spot! ✨🍽️🛍️

1. Gardens by the Bay (Outdoor Gardens)

While the famous domes have an entry fee, exploring the stunning outdoor gardens like the Supertree Grove, Sun Pavilion, and Serene Garden is completely free. The nightly light and sound show at the Supertree Grove is a must-see.

2. Singapore Botanic Gardens

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this is a beautiful, tranquil oasis in the city. It's huge, so you can always find a quiet spot for a picnic or a long walk. The National Orchid Garden inside has a small fee but is worth it.

3. Sentosa Island's Beaches

You can get to Sentosa via the Sentosa Boardwalk for free (or a small fee for the monorail). Once there, chilling on Siloso, Palawan, or Tanjong beach is free. Perfect for a sunny day.

4. MacRitchie Reservoir Park

For the adventurous friends. Hike the trails and tackle the TreeTop Walk, a 250-meter long suspension bridge over the forest canopy. The views are incredible, and you might even spot some monkeys.

5. Jewel Changi Airport

It's weird to recommend an airport, but Jewel is a destination in itself. The HSBC Rain Vortex, the world's tallest indoor waterfall, is a stunning sight. You can also explore the Shiseido Forest Valley for free.

6. Kampong Glam & Haji Lane

Wander through Singapore's vibrant Arab Quarter. Admire the beautiful Sultan Mosque, and then explore Haji Lane, famous for its cool street art, quirky boutiques, and amazing photo ops.

7. Marina Bay Waterfront

Take a walk along the waterfront for iconic, postcard-perfect views of the city skyline, Marina Bay Sands, and the Merlion. The nightly light and water show, Spectra, is also free to watch.
